Discussion of Princess Bride was light and would be anxious to hear how those not attending found it. As it was we all settled unanimously on a tepid 6. Enjoyable, not provocative. Questions about whether was written as a screenplay first and expanded, or whether the creation of the novel was merely a vehicle to get the screenplay turned into a movie. It was intriguing got see for those that have seen the movie the decisions made in taking it to the screen and for those who have not yet enjoyed the movie whether this stands as a decent novel.
The book chosen for this month’s read is: Einstein: His Life and Universe by Walter Isaacson.
