Summer Frost is a superb short study by Blake Crouch. Constructed with rapid character development and superb intensity it’s a small nugget and a great taster for those who may have not previously read this author – I love this series! The twists are brilliantly executed and make for a short, sharp, and thought-provoking read. I wouldn’t want to spoil any of this with much disclosure – other than to say like many of these others, extracting or realising cybernetic creation into a material/physical world can be fraught with some fascinating and multi-faceted outcomes.
