I’d definitely read (am reading) another.
These novella-style nuggets from a variety of authors as part of an inspired sci-fi series are a perfect entre to authors who you may not have met in the past. This one definitely appealed to me.
The idea of exploring the self-awareness of cybernetic beings is nothing original, but the trajectory of moving from programmed for evil – to becoming a force for good is definitely far rarer and particularly well-characterised here.
I look forward to seeing where this series goes and indeed where else I may meet this author.
