Report on the Life and Loves of a He-Devil

by Graham Norton

From one of our correspondents:

‘Light and fluffy’ was my first comment and I’ll stick with that! The occasional flash of acid wit, but altogether more restrained than I had perhaps expected. He comes across (surprisingly perhaps) as quite an honest and likeable individual, and the book is by no means as much ‘me me me’ and name-dropping as some I’ve read (Rupert Everett, take note) and much happier than Stephen Fry.

Enjoyed reading it, though as a lot of books like this, it’s probably something read better in short sections (there is a sameness over a long read) than sit and read right through. Would I read the next instalment (if written)? Probably, though unless there’s something radically changed about him/his show it would be something of interest but not compellingly so. Score? 7/10 as it did hold my interest throughout.

And semi-officially:
