On my second day, I got acquainted with the subway system and made a trek out to see the Olympic Park. Its a great example of a well managed Olympic effort. Commercial sponsorship of the site has turned it into a great recreational complex used extensively by the citizens of Munich. later on in the week I trundled out to the Olympic Stadium again for the Audi Show jumping Championship. The pictures are from too far away to really appreciate the horses though. I did however think this was an interesting shot. When I was walking away from one of the pavilions at the site, they were replacing some of the teflon panels on the hyperbolic roof. The workers as you can see have to be quite the mountaineers and are having a bit of a challenge scaling its heights.

Right next door to the Olympic site is BMW's world headquarters. This is a good shot of the H.Q. building, which is quite unique. At the base of the towers is a large inverted soup bowl of a building which is the BMW museum. I have a bunch of interior shots of it, which trace the development of BMW cars, motorcycles and engines over their history.
