I was in Munich in early December of this year. The weather changed quite substantially when I was there. When I arrived there was just a skifting of snow on the ground in the outskirts and nary a sign in Munich, The next day it started to snow and snowed more or less the entire time I was there. Eventually there was quite an accumulation. The weather was cold, but I found the atmosphere to be warm and inviting. Despite the fact that I cannot speak any German I was able to get by quite comfortably (no, not just loudly and slowly in English). The transportation system is predictably efficient and economical. I spent most of my time within Munich proper, but a few excursions outside lent interesting additional experiences.

The set of photos here ...I have placed thumbnails, upon which you can click any to be taken to a full size shot along with commentary about that picture.
